Quote:Excellent find @makecents Too bad the search for Lincoln cents will be getting harder as these little jewels become more and more scarce. Too bad you don't have the apparatus to make Cents, 'makecents'. Thanks, John! Yeah, I'm sure I will come up with some rolls but will probably move on to nickels in time. Hah! I guess I could start my own cent mint?

Quote:Nice find Jon I still have about half a box of bank wrapped rolls to search. Same box from which I found 2 1998 WAM's. Thanks, Jeff! Good luck with the rest of your box and hope you can find some more maybe....

Greg, this die was very aggressively abraded and could not find much of what you are looking for but did find some, after messing with angled pics and different lighting. This is quite odd what you have found, but the 60's, both small and large date are chucked full of anomalies, as you know. It would be cool to know more than what has been found out, so many secrets....

I like it. That's a nice variety in really nice condition. I haven't been too keen on the 1960 P cents, partly because I've been too impatient lately with so little reward. Not to hijack your thread, but on the supply side I was fortunate to come across about 2000 rolls (paid a premium) and then another 180 rolls (face value) about 2 months ago. I have them in 5 gal buckets with lids. The large hoard came from a lady that put them up by dates with her late husband, ending in about 2013. They speculated they would make a killing, like what happened with silver after 1964. It didn't work out for her since they took up so much space, and she couldn't really find any other buyers. (Just this sucker. ) There were even about 60 OBW rolls of 2011P. Most are grouped by 1960-1969, 1970-1979, 1980-2008 (or 83-08). Some of the more modern dated rolls they marked as "Uncir." but I've correct the rolls to "RED", which is more accurate. In the smaller "face value" group I managed to find a 1998 and 2000 WAM in about 20 rolls. I'm hoping there will be other interesting coins in this batch. I haven't really been able to search much lately because of having to put my tool belt back on, as well as trying to keep up on the paperwork. Sorry to ramble on, but I wanted to give folks hope that there are still cents out there that need a home.

Quote: I like it. That's a nice variety in really nice condition. Thanks, man! I only had time to search a single roll that day and came across this guy. That's the only thing that has kept me in rolls lately, is no time to search.... Quote: Not to hijack your thread That would be impossible. That is fantastic you have come across all those rolls, congrats! I still have about 30 rolls or so, not counting the partial box you gave me, have not dug into that yet. I really appreciated that!

I was glad to do it. You take the time to share some in-depth insight with folks and know you will share if you find anything in them.

Still don't understand the problems some of you are having getting pennies! Just got two boxes from one of my bank branches today. Teller said there's no problem getting them (yet). But I had no problems with nickels either, and even got four boxes of 2024's - maybe I'm just in a Coin Haven Bubble
