With silver prices continuing to shoot up, I'm assuming the US Mint will increase how much they charge for silver products. Right now the ASE is listed at $95. How high should we expect that to go? I'm nervous LOL

The timing is not good for those looking forward to the 2026 celebration releases. Maybe they have ample supply and will cost average, but I am afraid they will just double the price of everything next year.

Well lets hope not. I'm wondering if they need permission to raise up prices..

Wondering where , when and the quantity they purchase of the silver blanks ? Remember during covid they claimed a shortage. I'm thinking if silver price is 70/oz we could figure on paying @ 140 to 150 per coin. In other words an arm and leg.

2026 coin prices, what do we think...
i think I will be passing on it, for the most part. i'll get a coin or two dated 2026 for the alchemy bag, but that'll be about it. I've stacked & collected about as much as I'm going to, now my focus is going to be to just survive for as long as I can.

I expect proof & mint set prices to go up 15 to 20%. I expect the proof ASE's to sell for at least the price charged for the Armed Services 2025 PM 250th Ann'y ASE's - $105.00; West Point Uncirculated ASE $102.00 I expect the Silver Medals (if sold separately) that accompany the 5 "Best of the Mint" gold issues will ask $150.00 or more. I would not be shocked if the prices posted currently for the January 2026 silver issues go up prior to the release date. 2026 pricing will tell us if the USM has abandoned rank & file collectors in pursuit of the deep pocketed crowd.

I see the one ounce coinage going to around $150 in January. The current pricing (set before the silver boom) seems to be slightly double spot so it seems very likely. I am sure they are busy adjusting everything to fit this administration's agenda. This means undoing/redoing plans (packaging, marketing, etc) already set in motion. Continuity is given zero consideration because if the previous administration approved it, it must be wrong.
