I am somewhat perplexed by Indian Head cents. Being a huge Lincoln Cent fan, as you well know, it sort of makes me inclined to want to look into an IHC collection. There does seem to be quite a bit of fairly priced ones on ebay. My collecting, ironically enough, revolves around whatever coin denominations I'm interested in. My love of Jeffersons brought me to Buffalo nickels, and V nickels, so kind of by association I'm interested in them. I kinda gotta say somewhat similar of a scenario with IHC. I know somewhere where I can get some pretty decently priced albums to start. |

My IHC set occupies two blank Dansco Cents pages. It is in the same album as the Buffalo nickels and Mercury dimes. Also two blank pages each. I started the set way, way back before the turn of the century. I completed it in January 2023.  |

I've got a complete date/mint set in a Dansco 1857-1909 (missing 1869/69). Not a bad looking set for what I have into it (less than $100). Been lucky a few times on ebay. One of my favorite sets but I like all coins so buy anything that I feel is a deal..... |

Less than $100 for a full set in a dansco? What'd you do steal it lol seriously though how did you manage to pay that much?

I thought they were the "cat's meow" when I was younger but have grown tired of them - still looking for a nice 1877 though.

I managed to complete an Indian cent set some years ago. The last date, 1908 Philly, being the hardest one for me to acquire. The reason for that was it had to be counterstamped. I was then getting near the point that I was tempted to stamp one, myself! Now, if only I could find a counterstamped large cent to complete that set!  |
