livingwater Pillar of the Community United States 2213 Posts	Posted 12/27/2025 7:58 pm Colorized coins/rounds are collectibles, some like them, some don't. Someone who was near the Sept. 11 attacks or knew someone who was involved might like this. US Mint, Canada Mint, Perth Mint and other national mints have released colorized coins. The government coins that private mints colorize, charge a high premium are often not good for resale in my opinion. I've used acetone to remove colorized paint on a couple ASE. I've bought a few and found the colorization can come off in a flash with a can of brake cleaner. Mine looked fine after removal. Report this Post to the Staff
