$67. #5 of 40 acquired recently. Recently I purchased 40 slabbed Morgan dollars (36 ANACS, 3 PCGS and 1 ICG) and will post one a day alongside one Peace dollar. I paid an average of $67 for the 40 coins. This time I will post the grade of the coin 2 days after and this time we can compare our grades with those of TPGs. Thoughts? Thanks!

The obverse is very baggy. I'll say MS-62. The reverse is pretty nice though.

NS, a suggestion on your titles, given the volume, would you please indicate in the title that it is a TPG graded coin. Most, I never go back for a look, however, if I know there will be a reveal, I'll be looking for it.

Obverse took a beating, reverse might pull it up. As a buyer, it's a 61 to me.

I'll go with a heavily punched-in-the-face Morgan at MS-62, only because of the obverse, the reverse is MS-64+...

That obverse cheek is rough, looks deep. Going to say MS-61

This year has some odd ducks in the grading because of the prevalence of prooflikes. IMHO, may be one of the odd ducks. I'm at MS-61, and would not be surprised with MS-61 PL. The reverse is nice, and would make a decent coin for the "reverse design" slot in an album.

I'm surprised it graded straight with those gouges displacing metal. I think if it was PCGS that it would have detailed

MS61 is correct
