Here's an interesting example of what I believe to be a Field-Restricted Struck-Through, which I found the other day.
Everything seems to adhere to the error-ref description, and I see no pushing of metal, nor any damage to the obverse - both of which I would think would be apparent if this were a PMD.

Fortunately - I was able to go back to a previous post of mine, in which you guys were able to i.d. the error. Thanks!!

Thank You E&V
Sure wish the coin was a little cleaner - but this is after soaking it in acetone to be able to see the struck through better than I originally could!

Or would thin be a struck through (very busted up) Feeder Finger Damage

The scrapes on the fields in the doors and windows is very much Feeder Finger Damage, and I think that the larger deeper impressions are possibly from them.

Thank You jbuck

Dearborn;
as per error-ref, yes, it is all feeder related:

Quote:
The foreign matter is a gritty paste that is spread onto the die face by a feeder that is coated with the substance.

Quote:
The pits and channels may co-occur with die scrapes traveling in the same direction. These are also caused by the feeder.

Other than that - I 'm not sure!
But, if I interpret the question correctly, I'd say no.
Main reason for no, is that the top of the narrow door with slanted roof was not completely damaged, it was just "softened" by having the grit over it.

Pretty neat how the strike-thru is right over the feeder finger die damage.

Wow, that is a large amount of feeder finger scrapes, and a big struck-through error. Wonder what the original object was. Neat find, congrats! =)
