$67. #18 of 40 acquired recently. Recently I purchased 40 slabbed Morgan dollars (36 ANACS, 3 PCGS and 1 ICG) and will post one a day alongside one Peace dollar. I paid an average of $67 for the 40 coins. This time I will post the grade of the coin 2 days after and this time we can compare our grades with those of TPGs. Thoughts? Thanks! The MS-62 grade says something about how little pull the reverse has on the grade. I can see MS-62 here because of the heaviest cheek hit and the length of the scratch in the NW obverse field, but I agree, this one would be seen as MS-63 on a bourse floor because of the relatively nice obverse fields and the very nice reverse.

i always give a nod to the obv. in most cases thats what we see in an album however when assessing a coin for the 5 categories, they are graded based on the same criteria. if more than 2 grades difference then I can see netting them, otherwise I go with the obv

I'd buy that one as MS-63. Nice frosty coin.
