Sorry, no help. But seriously, does it REALLY matter? A coin that environmentally damaged isn't worth anything more than putting it back into circulation.

Can you provide a close-up picture of the date? I doubt it is 1943. If it is a copper 1943 cent, even in this condition would be worth considerably more than face value.

Honestly, I don't know why people bother with Coin Snap. Seems like every Standing Liberty quarter with the date worn off is a 1916............ But yes, a close up of date might help..

Highly unlikely it is a 1943 and if it were it would be difficult to prove it.

Why does the date matter?
The coin is horribly corroded and worthless as a numismatic item.
I'm not even sure it can be spent.

Reading the date is impossible. I would stop using Coin Snap as it's useless and inaccurate. This coin is just too far gone.
Errers and Varietys.

I'd say it could be any date except for 1943.

Horribly corroded Wheat cent, absolutely no reason to think it may be 1943. Coin snap may be ok for identifying coins when all the details are there but is absolutely useless in a case like this. Basically, it's just taking a wild guess.
