Note: Not my coin.

It doesn't look like a vise job, and the reverse usually isn't this clean on those.
It doesn't really look like glue, the reversed images are always on top, and you can see through them.

Skeptical because there is no trace of it on the reverse. It's possible they replaced the reverse die and not the obverse I guess, maybe the mint worker was hungover or something.

My needle is more towards authentic. Discuss.

Not sure what it is but I do not feel it is a clash. Clashes do not cut into the opposing die with the devices, as this has done with the outline of the memorial, plus something weird going on with the center bay, different angle than the rest.

The bays are raised on the reverse die which would make the sunken on the clashed die, which would make them raised on the obverse of this coin, makes sense for a clash to me.

These are the areas I am speaking of. Does not look right for a clash.

My input is not a genuine clash.

Two issues stand out for me:

The obverse die has Lincolns portrait deeply incuse at the center of the portrait - and yet somehow this purported clash has dug deep enough to impart the base of the Memorial across most of that feature.

The alignment of the clashed Memorial bays across the obverse are not consistent, they change from leaning left to leaning right when viewed starting at the coins date.

I hope I can be proved wrong ... this would be an absolutely amazing clash coin if proved authentic.

Thanks for sharing it Bobby.

Wouldn't there be a clash on the reverse as well if the dies hit hard enough to create that major of a clash on the obverse. It almost looks like some sort of die cap.

I like coin rejector's idea. It did not say it was not an error, just don't feel it's a clash.

I agree this is struck through a clashed capped die.

Had to do a little more digging, I think coin rejector is spot on and makes sense why it looks like it does. Thanks, tropicalbats!

Wow, I wonder if this coin is just an earlier strike from those same dies/cap!

Up by 'IN God' you can see the letters O and N from ONE and by 'RUS' of Trust from the reverse, but the two 'Ns' are backwards
