First glance, appears to be a common, circulated '40 S Wheat cent with some circulation flattening. There may be a die crack running through part of the left wheat stalk. Sharper photos could tell us more. Thanks.

Maybe a bit of a Rim Fin, but other than that- it looks like a normal worn Wheat cent

Can you get a clear picture of the reverse? The EPU looks thicker than normal.

Thank you for the better reverse photo. EPU appears to have circulation flattening from circulation wear. I thought it was a DDR, but now with better pictures, it doesn't appear to be a DDR.
