How bad can zinc rot really get?
Well, here's a pretty good example!
Kinda ridiculous that I found this CRH a bank roll.

Might have spent a good while buried in a somewhat 'hostile' environment. Found one very similar to yours several years ago, half buried in a road shoulder about 100' from pounding Pacific surf.
