Hello Everybody, While rollsearching today, I found the following coins. Is this offcenter enough to be considered an error? Is it worth keeping? Are the small bumps on the coin an error? (Not the rotting zinc, there are actual RAISED bumps on the coin)

First one looks off center to me, is it worth keeping? only if you can spare a cent! second one looks like plating issues. I found one like that.

The first one is a misaligned die or MAD, the second as said is plating issues.

Don't know about the MAD but if you hurry before the 95 rots away it's worth 1 cent.

The '93 is worth keeping but I think part of the lettering has to be missing for it to be a true MAD, I would keep it if I found it. Don't know what the going value is. The '95 is a plating issue and I would not keep that one. John1

Not true. A misaligned die is a misaligned die if it's not straight-on dead center. It's just not worth anything unless the design is affected, and in this case it is. Not sure what, but it's definitely a keeper error coin.
The other one is just corroded.

The first one is a nice MAD, no lettering is missing but the rim is missing and IN is right at the edge. The second one is just zinc rot- the raised bumps are zinc corrosion that just hasn't erupted yet.

I'd keep the first, just because I've never found one worse than that. The second, no.

The 1995 was actually heated, probably hit with a propane torch of some kind. The 1993-D is a keeper but minor (MAD or misaligned die)and thus only worth a minor premium. ~ Jim

It's only truely offcenter if lettering or design is missing, meaning not present on the coin. I believe the second coin is worthless but I don't know what made it the way it is.

A off-center coin is when both side are effected in the same direction.

If youve ever been around anyone welding the whole area is covered with those little hot spots like on the 95 coin.
