Your thoughts on this coin! Could this be a mint error I know proof strikes don't come from the Denver mint. Could be a one of a kind mint error

Just a straight business strike, the reverse die may have just been more worn than the obverse. Proof coins of that period were Philadelphia minted, so there wouldn't be a D mintmarked proof die.

I'm seeing a nice normal Lincoln Cent with Die Deterioration and toning. It's not a proof, but a very nice Business Strike.

FYI: The D stands for Denver not Delaware...

Impossible to "accidentally" make a proof coin in error, it requires specially prepared dies, planchets, presses have to be set up differently, can't happen!
