Nothing rare about it at all. These had an extremely high mintage and can be found easily in high grades. Worth 1 cent.

Did you find a video saying that this coin was rare?

There's an awful lot of AI-written, AI-spoken, AI-generated slop out there on YouTube etc that is simply telling lies about "rare" coins. A year or so ago I was shown a 2-hour-long video about "rare" and "valuable" Australian coins, and every single second of that video was completely made-up lies about the non-existent rarity of some very common coins.

It's generated by "content creators" using AI to create vast numbers of videos, because the more videos you download, the more Youtube etc pays you.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

This slew of misinformation has produced a ton of trash ads on ebay.

And sadly, it is not without victims. These are SOLD items:

The " no mint mark" nonsense is epidemic. To the OP, I realize you're asking in this thread about a Denver Cent, but I strongly suspect your reason for beliving this common coin is somehow rare comes from the same kind of misinformation.
Until 1980 the Philadelphia Mint did not use mint marks. It's the mother ship, and if a coin did not have a mint mark, it was understood that the coin was minted in Philadelphia.
And Cents from Philadelphia didn't join the crowd in 1980, with the very first (and only) Philadelphia Mint Cent with a mint mark being produced in 2017. All of the other billions have no mm.

Stick around here for some time. Much better source of information than some anonymous cyborg on YouTube.

Roan3 - if you are seriously interested in coins, I suggest you buy the Red Book - it's not expensive, and you can look up any American coin you find to check whether it's valuable!

Absolutely - it's worth exactly 1 cent.

What are you watching to cause you to ask such a question about an everyday common coin?

IMO you should stay away from whatever that 'information' source is!

Agree with all above. A rather common, circulated example with nice toning. Might be a minor obverse misaligned die going on--certainly not rare.
