Yeah you are doing a blind bid and you "could get lucky" with a few but they are wanting to dump their excess coins Reported

Quote: What the heck does this mean?
Quote: AG = 50% OF GOOD BID G = 70% OF GOOD BID VG = 80% OF VERY GOOD BID FINE = 90% OF FINE BID VERY FINE = 95% OF VF BID It's pretty obvious that he is selling wholesale lots of coins in increments of $25.00. If you tell him you want coins that grade "very good" you are getting 20% off greysheet bid price ($10.00 coin for $8.00) So for $25.00 you will be getting at least $30.00 worth of coins. You pick the grades of the coins you want, He picks dates...the only thing unclear to me is who picks the denominations. Anytime you purchase any kind of lot on ebay that doesn't show you pics of exactly what you're getting....it's a crapshoot. This auction isn't any worse that those ones that tell you your'e getting a 1'4 pound of coins for $25.00 that may include ..........(lots of stuff you never get...but you do receive alot of 40's & 50'S Lincolns).

I don't see any violations. Yeah, you might get lucky but I doubt it. He's figured it out, the dates I mean. You'll get melt or just above at best. It is a roll of the dice. Don't expect any keys.

Well its true, the listing states clearly what the terms are, and money back if not happy. Feedback looks ok (2 negatives in last year both in this past month) . Honestly, I don't see a problem. And rememeber - anyone can goof up so don't be too surprised if someone comes up with a semi-key or interesting variety. Otherwise, yeah, probably melt or a bit more.

it says the Denomination and grade is up to you, all they are saying they will do is give the date they choose. The value is what was stated above, so if you bid 25.00 and a VF coin is 5.00 then you would get 5 of that denomination/grade that you chose
