It's nuts. N V T S, Nuts (Can anyone name that movie?)

For my contest I had in the contest forum for guessing the price of silver when I got to 333 post, it was the highest guess that won.

Got it! One of my favorites!
I even catch myself singing "The Inquisition" from time to time.
Back to silver, it sure didn't stay in the $13.00 range long. Is $15 going to be an obstacle like $10?

Like I said, "Hang on for the ride"! Twenty dollars might be the hump we are looking for by the end of the year but $15 won't even be a factor as silver passes it by. Silver Eagles here were at the $15.50 range for 2006 last weekend so I suppose we will see another $1.00 added to that by this weekend. Boy do I wish I have every old junk piece of silver and all those eagles I have gotten rid of in the past 6 years!!!!

Can't tell you as NO one is selling! I am sure he is based on the spot price of silver but will have to check this weekend to see exactly what he would pay at this time. He also takes in mind the collector value on many of the dates like the 1986 and 1996 so prices will vary.

ya I just know that when I sold some a while back. My local dealer said that all BU ASE are higher then spot, just was not sure if you knew what your dealer price was. I am probably going by there tomorrow so I will ask him what he normaly buys for. I beleave last time I sold it was about .50-1.00 over spot.

The way it's looking, $15 may not be as tough as $10 was. 60+ cent gain today...

I guess them 8.00 silver eagles are looking better every day even if you have to cancell a subscription to their list for other coins. The price of silver is jumping close to a dollar day now

Hmmm... getting closer and closer to that mysterious point (known only to me) where I might actually seriously consider selling some of my silver. I'm not as into the silver buillion as I used to be, so who knows- more money for Euros if I sell!

Hi everybody! How 'bout that action today! An "Energizer" day - it just kept going, & going, & going.... Hate to see ya'll (TX talk) sell so soon, I think the fun is just warming up. But, if you really want to, I'll be happy to oblige on the buying end. Happy hunting! - David

I can't believe Littleton is selling the 2006 silver eagles for $21.50! I'm not sure how much above melt value I would pay...

$21.50 is EXACTLY why I don't do business with Littletons. There are way too many other options to buy coins at FAIR prices. I would assume the SAE will be nearing the $15 locally as they were $13.50 last Saturday. Of course they will be based on Spot Price on any given day so perhaps Friday and Sat. we could get a little relief? Like I have said, "Hold on for the ride"!

Good evening, folks. I'm sure most of you already know this, but Kitco.com has pretty good prices on bullion coins. The shipping is a little steep for small quantities, but they have a good assortment - especially in the "wholesale" items. They also carry raw & certified coins & sometimes you can find items 20-35% below list. Take a look. - David
