With the many posts lately about hoarding copper cents, I was just curious about how many cents people have put away. So, what's in your stash ?
I've started to put a few away. I only have 2500 or so right now.

Roughly 45,000 at the moment...I am small time compared to some of the guys over at realcent. A few guys there measure their stashes by the tons (I'm serious).

Man, you guys count 'em! Something between 50 and 75 pounds. See, I don't even bother to weigh 'em. They are in three canvas bags, tubes, and folders. I dug them out recently to put together a set for my grandson. He's going to have to find the keys on his own.

I don't know for sure. Maybe a couple hundred. The zincolns go back into circulation or my stepdaughters coin jar. I don't get to spend money much these days. My wife/gf does it all for me and she 99% of the time uses plastic. It's a long story.

Twelve coffee cans, working on #13. Four of the cans are the 48 oz size. One of these days I'll have to weigh them. Anyone need a good boat anchor?
