Hi, I admit it, I am addicted.
And I don't care who knows.
But, whenever the mailman rings the doorbell my wife just shakes her head.
I also collect coin books, and they are too big for the mailbox.
So, I get hand deliveries.

Also a note for you single guys who date. When you are out with a new lady let her know about your problem/hobby. If she has any qualms with it or you whip out a gold st. gaudens and an ASE. They seem to react to them in a positive manner.  |

Afterall a coin collector is never broke!LoL
I must admit though that my late husband would stop traffic to pick up a penny and I just thought,OMG and laugh!
Now,he'd laugh at me as he said"Toldya!"

Every time I go to the po box, My wife says...you must be waiting for something.
I think the only intervention with my collection is going to be a casket and an auctioneer. (hopefully not for a really long time)

As with most addictions, you need to rid yourself of the temptations. I will be glad to share my mailing address and you all can send me your coins and remove the temptation.  You can see that I am in total denial. |

After reading the above reply from mrwhisker, I just chuckled. My wife would also ask what I was waiting on when I would go to the po box. Now, I have started going all of the time so that it will just seem normal. I am not hiding, I am just timing. yea that's it

Of course coins could be sort of just a start of something even worse. Why you could become a Hot Wheel Car collector, a Beanie Babie collector, Baseball/Football card collector and on and on and on and.............
