Look at these pictures and tell there IS NOT a statue of liberty (or likeness) in the center of the Lincoln Memorial AND it looks like a die error with three people arund a fire underneath it... I got my photos a little mixed but I believe it's a 1964-D if that Helps... Edited by DAEM 08/15/2009 5:17 pm

I see what you mean but I think it is just the benefit of having a good imagination.

I don't see it. If you think it is a die error, what coin has a statue of Liberty with three people sitting around a fire? I agree with weezydog.

DAEM to CCF Don't listen to them non believers, I see the three figures and the rays on liberty's head and the torch held highest. The one figure I see is wearing a short sleeve shirt and maybe a long skirt, bending over lowest on the left, and appears to be placing a log in the fire. To the right and above one figure has a pointed hat and is leaning up against the pillar. Then a third is a bit in the distance behind the fire and sitting, looks like a child, as if to be eating smores. The D could be a misplaced mintmark? Just kidding ( although not about the figures ) All it takes is a good imagination or a fever of 105 and it's easy. Again welcome to the forum, we are here to have fun and learn. In short, I think your cent is just damaged a little.

I see Mickey Mantle hitting his last home run, or I see a corroded penny with some kind of stains on it.

You are ALL missing it. I have outlined it for you. It is easy to see what is going on. It is a haunted coin telling about a visit to the Lincoln Memorial.

Well, I'll admit to having had a few Adult Beverages (tm), and I see it! (*definitely seeing that one doing the potty dance*)
Wheezy, you kill me, I about spouted water on my keyboard!
Why is the ghost of Abe in the middle, is he trying to take back his chair?
And if it's haunted, wrap it in a black cloth and hide it somewhere. It will get over itself soon enough.

I think the figure on the right looks a little like Elvis singing nothing but a hound dog.
