I'm just Guessing here but did the grease gun bust all over this one before it was struck

Struck through example. (Grease) Pretty well covered. Someone on ebay may be collecting State Quarter errors and be interested. Glad you posted it. It's not a capped die strike. Capped die are usually on the obverse and the reverse is normal. Your is just opposite.

My dad gave it to me. He had it in his pocket. He is a truck driver so don't know where he got it.

With the full rims you can tell it hasn't been tampered with. Definitely a keeper just because it came from your Father. He KNEW you would be interested!

If you see me or someone else post that a Struck Through Grease coin normally does not have a premium unless significant details are missing, well that coin is missing significant details

Mike: I enjoyed the first image with the OBV and the rim showing. Nothing spectacular there, just enjoyed seeing that on the image with the OBV.
