Probably not, but the ashtray looks a little bit like it might be silver. I'm editing my edit, just saw the original post, .925 silver, neat piece! Quite a few have the 1965 Crown as their centrepiece, even though that was a CuNi coin. That also gives you some idea of how recently these have been manufactured.
