These coins definitely appear to have Mint damage, not post-Mint. It seems to me that these coins are cracked/crumbled due to weak points in the planchet. Opinions are greatly appreciated.

I am certainly not an expert, but the second one might be an irregular clipped planchet.

The 1945 appears to be planchet flaw with lamination. On the 1963 I wouldn't be surprised if this is post mint damage. Maybe from some kind of electrical arc.

1945 looks like some lamination...I don't know what to make of the 1963.

Thank you all. I didn't originally think that the 1963 was post-Mint damage, but enough of you feel that it is, so you're probably right. I appreciate all of your help.

Judging from the lamination cracks running through the obverse, I'd say the defect along the edge is related to it. The 1963 nickel shows a small ragged clip.

I'm with Mike on these. They are both the result of defective planchets not post mint damage.
