Poll Question
A question for those of you who ordered, or wanted to order, the LN6
Lincoln Coin And Chronicles Set:

The set contains a 2009 Lincoln Commemorative Proof Silver Dollar and
one each of the four reverse designs of the 2009 Lincoln Proof Cents.

For the sake of argument, we'll assume that the Proof Silver Dollar in
the LN6 Set is a 2009-P coin, produced earlier this year and one of
50,000 'held back' for this Set. This would mean that it is the same
coin as was available individually from the Mint earlier this year.

The question for those in the market for the LN6 Set is thus:

Do you already have the Proof Silver Dollar and the four Proof Cents
that are included in the LN6 Coin And Chronicles Set?

Poll Choices
I already have the Proof Silver Dollar and the Proof Cents
I already have the Proof Silver Dollar
I already have the Proof Cents (either in a Proof Set, or separated from a Proof Set)
I do not have any of these coins yet

I voted I do not have any of these coins yet.

I did not order a proof commemorative knowing that I was going to try to get the LN6 set.

I did not order my 2009 Silver Proof Set until today so I could combine shipping with the LN6 set.

i voted I already have the Proof Silver Dollar and the Proof Cents I bought the dollar when it first came out and the cents I got in the proof set. I was not excited about the LN6 set because I already had the coins.

but after seeing all the excitement for the LN6 set I decided to try and get one and I was able to do so in fact I got 2. so I will probably sell one of the LN6 sets and the single proof dollar and just keep the other LN6 set.

I already have the proof set, I only bought this new Chronicles set today to resell unless it turns out to be an S mint mark dollar coin. Then I might hang onto it.

I bought a couple of the dollar proofs to look at and I have a box of 10 that I still have not opened.

I did order the new set, I think that will be a high dollar item in the future.

As for the pennies, I have 5 in the proof sets and 5 in the silver proof sets, and a couple extra I bought off e-bay. So I guess I am set!

Writing this it sounds more like OCD!

I buy a proof set just about every year so I have the cents. I don't have any interest in any of the modern commemorative dollars, except for the one in my 7070. I bought 2 of the LN6 sets strictly for resale.

This poll surprised me a bit!

I would have thought that more repliers would have had a Silver or
Clad Proof Set (and thus, the Cents) by now.

I bought the 2009 Clad Proof Set (my first post-1991 Clad Proof Set)
at the time of its release, specifically to get the 95% Copper Proof Cents.

If the LN2 One Cent Proof Set had been available at that time,
I might have bought that Set instead.

I got the Proof Lincoln Dollar because I was concerned that I
might not be able to get the LN6 set at issue price! (this is why I
thought that more people would have had the Proof Dollar already!)

Does this mean that a large quantity of Proof Lincoln Dollars that
are currently not on the market will be offered for sale when their
owners get the LN6 set? (assuming, of course, that the Proof Dollar
in the LN6 Set is a "P")

Makes perfect sense! On Mint News Blog, there were a lot of reports
of people ordering the even more limited BR4 Braille Education Set
in conjunction with the LN6 Set.

However, given how slowly the Mint servers 'work' (I use this
term very loosely! ) when an 'in-demand item' is released,
I was not willing to try to add any other items to the cart for fear
that the LN6 would sell out while I was waiting for the cart to refresh!

To be honest, I was not really interested in having just the dollar or just the cents. I wanted this set, which sounds odd coming from me (a notorious proof set buster).

I intended to have the 2009 Silver Proof Set already sitting in my cart before the noon rush, but I did not. I am glad I did get through though, even with having to add a second item to the cart!

I have every set available. Although I have been waiting for the Lincoln Coin and Chronicles set once it was announced earlier this year. This was the set I really wanted to obtain.

I order the proof silver dollar when it first came out. Obtained the proof cents from a person on CCF.

Ordered the set and received the email confirmation around 3:24 (east coast time) on Thursday.

I've been wanting the LN6 Set since it was announced, of course.

Even back when it was first announced, it looked like a one-day sellout.
If the Mint servers had been faster, it sure would have been!
(I think that they received more than 50,000 orders for the set on Friday,
as it is, but some of them may not go through)

I already have two each(proof and MS) of the commem dollars but I do not have the proof Lincolns yet. However, when I ordered my C&C set, I also ordered a Silver Proof Set so I will get them all at once

I already had two Proof Lincoln Silver Dollars, and I had the Proof Cents in three Proof Sets, and two Silver Proof Sets, but did not order the individual Proof Cent Set.
So, I obviously had all of the coins covered in one manner or another, but with the point of the poll as I see it, yes, that did NOT stop me from ordering the LN6 Set at all. (50,000 and O.G. packaging, and well....just all about President Lincoln were my deciding factors).

I still regret/ponder not getting just the Proof Cent Set too.....but I probably won't, since I "do" have it covered in so many directions now ! ....

The LN6 lincoln coin & chronicles are are a very nice set, and included in the set is a copy of the original Gettysburg address, corrections and all, plus Abe's
picture. wished I had more than I have, but can only look at one at a time.
