Purty! I am working on the same set.
I just have one gripe now that I have gotten into Dansco albums... They are totally inconsistent! :(
One album will have spots for SMS coins, while others don't. Some albums have spots for goofy errors that I personally, don't consider belonging in a regular collection, while other albums skip legit coins that truely do need a spot. I wish there was an album manufacturer out there that was on top of this stuff.
Sorry for the rant. I am done. I hope my dimes turn out that nice! Any tips? Thanks Dave

Such a superb set! If I were you though, I would chase after all the proofs, they are still cheap enough and you might think about getting examples of the satin finish mint set dimes as well. This set can't go on forever and when it ends you will be glad you did.

Yeah, Wheezy I'm in the process of looking for the '50-'55 proofs and he '09 proof and silver proof and the '65 sms are ordered and on their way here. The '09 P & D are satin. What year did they start the satin finish?

I created a custom album with non-dated denomination pages for my Indian Head cents, Buffalo nickels, and Mercury dimes. No over-dates or missing legs for me.

nice set, I like that the album had a spot for the silver proofs too. I agree with ratio411

Hey that looks like my set Except my 1947-D needs an upgrade to BU
So now I'm hearing that I should go chasing the proofs? 1950-1964? But there are no holes marked for those, seems like there is some inconsistency in the Dansco selection for an album

Get the coins now, worry about the holes later.

I agree just slap in an extra page like I did for the proofs!

Doesn't Dansco make a blank album, much in the way that Whitman makes a blank folder for each denomination?
Sorry if the question is obvious; I don't Dansco...

Yes they make both blank albums and pages.

Yes, you can get albums with just the denomination (for example, "Cents") on the cover and several blank pages inside.
