I found this while searching a roll today. I am not sure what it is worth but it was fun to find it.

If it has a mintmark, it's worth more than a buck. (hard to tell without seeing the reverse) Numismedia lists (in Good) 1924 at a $1, 1924D at $7 and 1924S at $15.
Always fun finding obsolete coinage roll searching! I found a 1937 Buffalo myself today! I've probably found 10 in the last month (half of them had dates). If you search alot of rolls (especially the Brinks plastic wrapped) you'll find Buffalo. Seems people are dumping alot of change. I've also been finding alot of the Silver War Nickels (probably found 30 in the last month).

Always nice to find a buf in a roll. Regardless it is worth more that 5 cents! I always get excited when I find one, esp with a readable date!!

Hey JayDon62, I've been searching around 100 rolls a day most days. I like the Brinks rolls the best, but I search any I can get my hands on. The Brinks rolls have been producing best lately. Yesterday I got a VG6 1911 Liberty nickel out of a Brinks box (2nd in the last few months) and today I got 2 datelss Buffalos out of 2 Brinks Boxes. The War Nickels have been good too! They have been averaging 2 out of a box and I got 5 out of a box once. I can only remember one box that had no War Nickels in it. I figure the finds will slow down someday....but they're good at the present!
