WOW .. nice looking I hope the coin will look as nice. I have been putting aways some of each one, rolls and ones from mint and proof sets I have been putting away. When I get this one I think it will be time to buy the first book Dansco.

Yup....... Like everyone else in the country, I'll be getting a roll or two of the Lincoln Dollars and "putting them away". I have one roll of each of the first four Presidents......but discontinued the practice of doing that for the rest of the program..(I only select a few singles for my albums now, and that's it)......however Lincoln will be one of the several exceptions to getting "rolls" ! I'll be excited to make a Proof Presidential album one of these days too ! ....  ... ( though it'll be very doubtful that this future album will ever equal what the Presidential Proof Sets cost each year to acquire....  ) With shipping and handling plus the cost of the Set.... x-times-x the number of years of the Program, this will cost .....what..... $300.00 plus to have all of the Proof Sets to make my album. I saw that DNA LOL! This is a very nice obverse design. I just wonder where the high points on this coin would be? This is a very face forward design. How would Honest Abe look later on with VF details.  Sort of like Owen Wilson?  |
