I am not sure if anyone here has either open or potential dealings with Todd or zippy2000 or zakota. I had a few deals go with him and as soon as I paid he went puff. will not answer emails. this will probably be pulled because of the community rules (I hope it is OK though) but if anyone knows how to contact him please let me know. I have his phone, Address and have joined as many of the forums I can find him on. but I want it out there to save some of you guys from what I am going through. it's only $70.00 but when your disabled and no longer mobile things start to matter that didn't before. I dont expect him to get back with me either on this forum or an email in private (I dont think he has the integrity it takes) so all I really want to say is check your records and never deal with this guy. he should be removed from any community with integrity but that's out of my hands. ok rant over you may now delete this or leave it that's all I needed

Sorry to hear about this Gary. You know the Community goes to great lengths to prevent things like this. Unfortunately, nothing is foolproof.
Thanks for the heads-up to the rest of us.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. From my own experience, that sort of behavior is not the norm here--lots of great people. I'm also certain the mods are watching out for this guy, and will spot his IP if he returns under a new ID.

that is way from the norm here. this is one of only two places I would trust to pay first. in fact I trust these guys enough that I dont wait for payment for most of them when order from my store. if that's not trust I'm lost. lol anyway Susan and Bobbie are doing a great job and the mods here are the best

I bought quite a lot of coins off Todd last July & had no problem with him. He went out of his way to get them to me at the cheapest possible postage rate and on 2 occasions, he sent me extra coins free! He did not come across as the type of person who would welch out on a deal.
Back then, he did mention to me that some people who were interested in buying his listed coins used up to 4 different email addresses and as they didn't sign their messages, he couldn't always figure out who they were. Since then, whenever I'm bidding on or buying items from a forum, I always use my full name & give my forum ID as well, so there's no mistaking who I am. E.G.: Nancy Cross (CCF ID nancyc). I also use that as my signature on any Paypal payment messages.
I do feel that something must have happened to Todd and for some reason he is unable to respond. I'll see if I can get in touch with him and will post here if I receive a reply. In the meantime, please do not judge him too harshly.

I contacted him and he told me that the post office had the coins and was going to send them through but that was about 8 months ago. sense then I have talked to him once and emailed him maybe 6-7 times both on his email and my space page. after I finally told him that I dont think the coins are going to get to me and that I think he should just return my money he cut off all contact and has not got back to me. his phone (that I had) has been shut off and he probably blocked my emails by now as I have told him I think he is a thief. I really hope I am wrong but he has not tried to prove me either wrong or right. I have also talked to a few others that had no problem at all so it dos go both ways so far. the last time he contacted me he said he was in Spain or over seas and would take care of it as soon as he got home. that was maybe 7-8 months ago and he is not military so that could not be it. I try not to judge anyone but almost a year has passed and sooner or later you have to call a duck a duck

After eight months and being cut off from communication, I'd be inclined to roast this duck, too. On the other hand, nothing in my dealings with him suggested that he might "go rogue". Please keep us posted.
