Wow those are some nice original SLQ's. You definitely got a good deal. Those would be absolutely perfect for my set, you're not thinking of selling are you?

I'm not sure if we are going to sell them or not. They are very difficult to get and my wife and I have turned down several other similar sets that were virtually junk! Give us a little bit of time to think about it.

Give us a little bit of time to think about it. Yeah, those are really nice ones in problem-free condition, which are hard to find. A complete set of these would be a big accomplishment.

I think the great thing about this set is how original and well matched they are. Sure, they're really high grade, but they are very crusty and beautiful and I think you did well at $90.

Wow, a "short set" of Standing Liberty quarters! I don't see a 1927 (P) but I guess that's because you posted the '27-D twice. The really cool thing about your set is that the key 1927-S is an excellent match for the others. Usually it's the key date coin that slides along at a grade several notches below the commons. Your '27-S looks pretty close to F-12 gradewise and the retail price is right around $100. So, a $90 tag for the whole set looks like a sweet deal.

You're right! The 1927P was omitted inadvertently. Here it is and it is also, quite nice! Here SHE is...

That's a very nice set. I've been thinking of tackling a SLQ set, maybe the full set or maybe a date set. I'm saving up for a 1916 right now, and those coins inspire me to chase this goal. They're such beautiful coins when they're in nice grades.

I thank you! I find myself looking at them more and more over the last several days. I had every intention of getting down to the local coin dealer who made what I see as a ridiculous offer to purchase them but unfortunately I was waylaid. However, the more I look at them I think I may be falling in love! I appreciate everyone being so kind on this site and offering a such was the that cannot be purchased with money. Okay maybe a semi-key date...
