Mom and sister both got me some silver. Sister got me a 1 oz bar from APMEX and my mom somehow got a 1923 monroe commemorative half dollar (completely random). The commemorative is worth more numismatically speaking but its still some silvah! Anyone else get anything good. |

I got a metal detector for Christmas (Garrett Ace 250). While not a coin itself, I sure hope it will help me find some!

My wife's aunt gave me some cent rolls that she has had for about thirty years. I also got a 1918 Lincoln Cent in change the day after Christmas, does that count?  |

I got 3 JFK Silver proof halves and 79 S type II from the wife. My father in law gave me 2 1921 Morgans and 5 Shield nickels. |

My girlfriend got me a gorgeous copper Ottoman Empire 40 Para from 1857. ( I know this is the modern US thread, but this was my only coin gift) She also got me a full set of the old Turkish Lira notes in Crisp Unc. Very kool stuff!

I didn't get any coins for Christmas either (except from my SS on this forum) so I had to treat myself also. I finished paying off my 1810 Classic Head Large Cent, and also bought two different Seated dimes, all for my Dansco7070 album (even though I will only use one of the dimes at a time in it, I just loved the second one so much I just had to have it) |
