Actually, I think you have to order thos labels from the USPS website. https://www.usps.com

I don't even use those--just regular old paper & clear tape. Just make sure not to tape over the bar code if you're using Usps. UPS doesn't care...

That how I do it also and I tape over the bar code, my USPS dosen't seem to care.

I've only done one label so far and I used paper and taped the label but I didn't cover the bar code.

I'll add my two FE cents which is the same as everybody else's: I just print out the labels on cheap plain paper (WalMart, $3/ream) using the lightest setting on my printer, then tape the labels onto the parcel. I try not to tape over the bar code, but have slipped a couple times with no negative feedback from USPS.
