Seems a bit strange. Could it be a filled die or is it damaged after minting? The three looks too long to me.

Looks like the 3 took a hit in circulation to me,just damage.

It's either that or a gas bubble that has exploded in a small way, only affecting the digit itself. I've seen it happen.
