Last year I began to refocus my coin collecting attention to the Indian Head cent series. My IHC collection has been complete for awhile, although in the Fine to EF range. This series has fascinated me for years now researching the history, variety attribution, wear vs. strike characteristics, etc. I also truly enjoy the natural toning that occurs on unmolested mint state coins. Unfortunately I realized to finance this "Upgrade" something else was going to have to go. I had a fairly decent type set that I put together early on in my coin collecting career, with many nice examples and several examples that I consider "educational expenses". I decided to save a few of my favorites and sell the rest. Thanks to the professional handling and personal service of Susan Thorton, President CCF Numismatics, I was able to sell these coins in a fast and efficient way. These coins were auctioned last year and I'm sure many CCF members saw them on CCF gallery. I would strongly recommend Susan to anyone who is looking to sell (or buy ). And now I would like to share the results of this effort.

Those are awesome, I'm starting to get much more into the IHC series and other ones. I've been too much into seated liberty and barber over the past year or two.
