Not a $, but I thought of you jbuck, when I bought it this weekend.
Very nice!

I have one of those on my watch list. I might have to finally buy it some day.

Not a good photo at all. There isn't a mark or scratch on my 1972 S Proof, Ike dollar. Scratch, fingerprint, etc. are on the 2x2. I've had this coin for quite some time. Maybe I should send it to a TPG. Enjoy!

Thanks! He is a purdy one! I don't really collect Ike's, although I have most of them. I'll pick one up every now and then when I see an BU or Proof.

Let's see it outside of the 2x2

Any idea what this blueish toning is? I have seen this more often on 1964 Kennedy's and Franklin halves.

Back in 1974 my house was burglarized and my complete coin collection was stolen (they looked at and left the stamps...). Two weeks later I received my mint orders: 2 proof sets and 2 uncirculated silver Ike's. This is one of the Ike's from then and the anchor for when I started collecting again in Feb of this year.
