At a local coin show today, a dealer had a small tub of various loose circulated Ikes. $3 each. Another guy had several Brown Ikes, but they were quite milky - didn't even look for a price on them.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Clad proof 1978 S. This a replacement proof I acquired due to my clumsiness in cracking a 1978 proof set. I accidentally scratched the Ike in that set. Now I am at a loss as to what to do with the flawed proof coin, as I have a fondness to Ike dollars like I do to Kennedy halves.

Nice Ike, mestephil. I recently started collecting Ike silver dollars and more recently Kennedy silver halves.
