Iv only done a few boxes of dimes and had good luck, gonna try and snatch 3 boxes for the weekend. You guys talking about the tellers snatching the silvers, how come my brinks dimes are paper wrapped?Lots of brinks nickels have been to. they are the same shotgun rolls like string and sons, but dont say string and sons. I know these banks are brinks, because my halves say brinks.
I would like if my dimes came in the clear wrappers, would only open the ones that hold the canadas, or silvers.

I did my first box of dimes for the year and found 2 silver dimes, 1957 & 1959D. I mostly search pennies and nickels, but this was a decent box.

What are the usual find rates while searching dimes?

adam, I never tried a box of dimes before but had purchased them in multiples of $50 a year ago and got 1 Silver one every single time until my recent attempts in which I skunked. Today, I'm heading to the bank to buy a box of dimes and a box of pennies, I'll tell yah what I find :D

Hello everyone. I have been half dollar hunting and have become a bit addicted. I searched through my first 2 dime boxes and found 2 silver dimes in the first and 21 silver dimes in the second. I have 3 boxes coming next week.

I've been really busy lately, but I did $130 dime rolls and found nothing. I don't really mind though, my average is still at 1 silver per $90.

So I have found a CU that will call me when the get bags of dime. This is going to keep me busy because they said the get about a bag a week and I am on the list for all 6 branches. Going out to get my carpal tunnel splints now (just kidding). Of course I did the first bag and all I got was and empty bag. I still have hope though.

Box 7 was a skunk

box 8 got one 60's silver.

Both boxes were sealed, with clear wrappers, took, all of 4 minutes. Broke up about 12 rolls total, got 2 canadians, the others were just to make sure.

8 box total, is 10 silvers
