Here is a pretty rare coin. It has a mintage of 20,000.
Yes, this is only a Good and has no mintmark, but don't let this fool you how tough it is. It starts on the Greysheet at $150 in Good, which is grossly underpriced.

It does has full rims, which they normally come weak for this date. After purchasing, I showed this to one dealer and he stated he has not seen a dealer trying to sell one of these for a couple decades (aside from Larry Briggs who literally wrote the book on Seated quarters).

Looks like a strong Good to me. You are right it is a tough date. They are wanting $750 for their coin in this grade! They might need to update the books on this one.

Nearly ever pricing guide is out of whack on almost all seated rarities. Why?
The contributors to these publications are trying to buy at low prices. That's my thought at least.
Another explanation I have been given is there aren't enough sales of these pieces to know the true pricing... I am not buying in to that one as much.
