I know this thread is a few days old, but I have to ask. What was done to the coin to make it look like that? Did they smash a dime and a Wheat cent together or something like that?

Did you guys also notice that he called this a Mercury dime error,when in reality its a Roosevelt dime...or maybe thats the real error,a mercury that looks like a roosey

wd1040, That makes sense. For some reason I just drew a blank with this one! LOL!
If that were a genuine dime with a cent reverse, the reverse would look silver, not copper.
