I just downloaded the current issue of the greysheet, and it only covers Lincolns up to 1933. Is there a issue that lists later wheats and early memorials? As well as more recent other coinage?
I can't seem to find one.

I have never done a download, only paper copies, but the Monthly Supplement lists Lincolns 1909-1933 in Good-MS65 and 1934-1949 in MS63-MS65. No individual post-1950 Lincolns are listed except proofs through 1964.

What do people use as a guide for more recent coinage? Is the numismedia price guide accurate for reasonable price expectations?

It's sad to say this, but the reason for NOT being posted is that they are way too common. There is a listing made for BU rolls in the Monthly supplement section and you can break that down.

I use Numismic News(coin market) Coin Prices Mag., and the RedBook for all of my pricing. If I am to sell to a collector, that's the way. I will not sell to a dealer.

That's what I want to do, halfwitty. I want to post some coins here at CCF, but I want them to be priced that's fair to both sides. I don't have a RedBook, I do have a bluebook, though. Thoughts?

By the way, ironically, I'm not selling my Lincolns. I'm selling just about everything else to raise the money for some semi-key Lincoln's. ASE's, Buffalo nickels, Liberty nickels, a Classic Head Half Cent, others.

You have to buy the monthly AND the weekly. They recently moved the BU ROLLS to the weekly, it used to be in the monthly. Now you have to buy both! People often take the roll price and divide it by 50 to come up with individual prices. Most people add a bit more to that to clear a profit.

There's an old chess axiom, "Play the board; not the man." When I try and estimate the value of a coin, I do (factor in) both: read the facts, statistics, etc consider humanity (demand, obsession, availability) I try and deduce an average between: numismedia bestcoin.com RedBookpcgs ebayHumanity will always impact black and white statistics of any snap-shot statistics

J_H_S - I agree with that method. None of the price guides are dead on, and to me the most accurate way of deciding what I'll pay for something is to take 3-4 sources and average out the prices.

Thanks for the input!
I haven't been collecting for long and I have spent most of my time trying to get educated in everything except pricing!

Go to the link below and select the issue you want, pay them, and you will be provided a link that is good for awhile. I don't remember how long the link is good for because I downloaded it right away and didn't have to go back to it. Maybe a week, 2, maybe 30 days? Anyway, for $4.00, I got the monthly supplement (if you click on "What's covered" you can confirm you are getting the coins in the list that you want). Just download it and save it to your desktop or wherever. Since prices don't really seem to fluctuate between issues, it should be good for a few months at least. Let me know if you need any more help! And, to the forum! http://www.greysheet.com/web_order/...ssu_form.asp

Thanks Scooby. Last year, I bought Mint Set from a dealer. I asked his son (adult) that seems didn't know anything to give me a copy. Based on that, I limit my bid on ebay. I got good steals. The best during working time. but it started getting old, now I can get the current one until next 6 months or so. Samuel tan
