ageka you are right on different countries using medal allignment vs coin allignment Canada for one uses Medal Orintation, it was just some kind of starting point

Well if anything coins can spawn history lessons.
Pierre TAFFIN inherits title and holdings as "Seigneur of VIEUX-CONDE" His friend Viscount DESANDROUIN owns the castle located at Trieu of FRESNES. Good coal vein discovered in 1717. These two gentlemen formed the ANZIN Company. 1756 there are 1500 miners. 1789 there are 4000 miners. The mines produce til the 1900's.

trcmedic: Coinage history is one of the main reasons that we all collect coins. Yes, this was a good lesson for us. Thanks everyone for your contributions and assistance to trcmedics thread.

As an added note, foreign coins/collectors are referred to a "darksiders" on the CCF. Enjoy!
