I think this is the nicest of the 4 gold pieces I purchased last week. The strike seems exceptionally strong with Liberty's hair and coronet looking very three-dimensional. Like the 1914 coin, I'd call it AU-55.

Very nicely-struck. I'm seeing northwest-southeast striations on the reverse, and a little on the obverse; are they apparent off-camera?

Nice! I love $5 Libs. It's really tough to tell from the images, could go AU58 or as high as MS63.

Jaobler; nice coin. In a push, I'd go AU55...it'd be a push, though. I'm more inclined to AU50 because I feel all the marks on the coin are from substantial circulation or over/mishandling.

There's a likelihood it's been cleaned, too, based on the marks in the SW and ESE obverse fields and the striations on the reverse.

The ESE obverse field looks like there was some gunk assimilated onto the surface that was removed.

...I see some rub on the tip of the Coronet and hair. I would give it a AU-58, the fields look pretty clean. Nice pick-up

I would go AU-50/53. Nice coin!
