They want more for the shipping than the coins worth!

yep; recovering and earning unearned value via postage. Like free cd's shipped for $8.95 Has post-mint rim dings on the obverse, too, that look like they happened during collection or circulation. BS70.

the bidding has already surpassed PCGS's overvalued MS60 and MS63, $5 and $9, respectively.
With all those bag marks, and I have to convince myself that's what they are, that coin is barely a MS60 imo.
add the damage to the shoulder and the scratches on the shoulder and the sideburns and.............presto....AU.
PCGSs AU (over)value? They didnt even bother assigning a value to it.
Numismedia? a blistering twenty-one cents for AU. An even more blistering $1.21 for MS60

98% of SGS modern slabs are MS or PF70. Their grading standards are a joke and only there to try to scam the unknowing collector that is just starting out that wouldn't know a 60 from a 70 until they get a little more knowledge

Bid on the coin, not the holder. Occasionally, you will find nicer stuff in their holders, but not this time.

Jeeze; the bidding's surpassed $10. I wish I could get $10 each for all my beat up AU 1952S's.
Heck, i'll take $10 each for my MS60 1952S's

You have to be careful as several ebay sellers slab their own coins..........I always make a point of asking who slabbed their coins! As long as people buy from them they will always be there. Buyer beware!!

SGS grades all it's coins MS70. It could be "crossed over" from a FR02 PCGS slab and they (he) would still call it MS70.
