I would go XF-45/AU-50 on that one. It's nice, a little bit of a weak strike but some luster remaining.

11-D's are known for being softly struck (excessive die spacing). Just a touch of wear on this IMO.

Nice! I love it when you look at a great wheatie or other coin on this thread and scroll down battling in you head with yourself 40, 45, maybe 50. Boom! Everyone thinks so too! I may learn to grade one day yet.

Whats going on on the top rim of the reverse?

I think it would grade AU53 or maybe even 55.

Hey! I was wondering just what happened to that MS67 1911D cent I had some years ago that one day went missing from its holder! Grrrrr....

Nice piece... and a tough call. Can hardly imagine a less marked circulated coin of that age.

AU 50 or so with very nice fields- great coin IMHO
