That is a very unique cent. I would never part with it if I were you.

Looks like a very solid 63BN. Shot at 64. Nice woody.

PCGS settled upon giving it a PR63BN because they get very confused when it comes to grading wood-grainers.

Delicious. Struck off-center, or is that the slab?

Now Thad you know you should stick to your first instinct. Yes its graded MS63BN. However its really hard to see any contact marks under all the wood.
All I can see is a scratch or dig extending from the eye over the temple and one strike on his shoulder. I think the lack of impressive cartwheel luster may be what kept this down from a 64.
Superdave it is a little strick off center now that I look at it and the reverse is rotated about 15-20 degrees.

LOL....like they say..."always go with your first answer". Notice, I didn't actually change my answer, I just qualified it. I've been burned by NGC a few times now with some nice MS coins coming back AU-58, so I don't trust them (or the others) and you never know what they're going to do on the tougher coins to grade. I just gave my dealer the 24-D and I'm shaking in my boots it's going to come back AU-58. If it does, all of you will hear my screams of agony. LOL
