The other one I got from the silver box. I think it might be a little better than the first.

I can't offer a "meaningful" grade (as I'm a newbie), but that is a nice looking coin.

But I'll throw out a grade anyways.AU-55 maybe?

don't worry I used to be much worse! I once graded a coin VG-8 that was actually like AU-50

I like it as a VF-30, but Peace dollars are far from my forte.

I'm going with an AU-58. This is a great strike (a usual problem with Peace dollars) and aside from a few nicks on the obverse, it looks close to Uncirculated.

Im with Moe, this coin shows just the smallest amount of wear, at least in these pictures.

A study on the high points of the coin really helps with the Peace dollar series. also knowing that they ( Peace dollars) were one of the worst struck up coins the US has ever minted doesn't hurt either.

I'm putting at AU55. This series is plagued with soft strikes. This 28-S is the exception.
