Does this look cleaned? What grade would it be at?

I don't think that it has been cleaned. IT just has "wood-grain toning." This occurs when the metals are not properly mixed before the blank is made. So the different components tone a slightly different color, which creates that streaking effect.

I think that this one is a nice AU.

The reverse has nice graining, but the obverse is what makes me wonder if it's cleaned. It just looks off.

This coin doesn't look clean to me either. I would also agree with AU detail.

Looks very nice and I can't see any evidence of cleaning in the images. It's an AU55 easy and could be "market-graded" into MS62 slab if no problems are found.

The current bid is already over AU money and I can see why because it looks like a $40 coin to me.

I don't see any wear or problems. Color is red-brown and it appears original, with wood-grain texture as noted. Details are very strong. If luster is intact I could see this coin in an MS-63RB holder. The ticks in the obverse field would preclude any higher grade. If luster is impaired I think it should score an AU-58.

It's an attractive cent IMO.

It does not look cleaned to me. If anything, the "shininess" that it displays may be due to an acetone bath, but I don't think that detracts from the overall value of the coin.

I also agree with AU58.
