There appears to be doubling in the "7" of the date, please see image. Is it?

Thanks for your comments, feedbacks, and opinions!

Looks like damage from a counting/rolling machine. Notice how the damage carries into the mintmark as well.

I agree. It happens on the outside edges of the wrapped coins. On the OBW rolls you can almost toss the outside two coins on most of them.

Thanks for the replies. Sorry for posting so many "duds", but I am trying to learn to ID real varieties and errors from mechanical ones.

When you find a keeper, you will know it and proclaim you new find. Most of the time we look too hard to find something that isn't there. When you do find one, it leaps right out at you and you KNOW you found something. But keep asking questions. You learn that way and other who read the forum benefits as well.

Don't ever stop asking questions! These guys are mega-generous with teaching.

I started here without knowing anything, and I still have a lot to learn, but something must be sticking because I think that's the first time coop ever agreed with me!

Umm, actually that is not counting machine damage. It's just a larger hit on the coin. I see no evidence at all of counting machine damage.
