I've been looking for a CC quarter at my local shows for awhile. They are always problem coins (hits, scratches, etc.) and/or have been cleaned (white, maybe retoning, but no crust). This is the first I've seen that looks this original without major problems (although the surfaces, especially obverse, show lots of pin/shallow scratches). There are no rim dings at all. Then again, maybe some will consider it has major problems. In hand, I can tell you the coin looks fantastic. The photographs pick up a lot more than you would see at a first or even second glance.

Yes, I think it's technically a VF. The strike is very typical for a CC, especially the weak reverse.
Rest in Peace
