A lot depends upon the condition of the coins. If the Mercury dimes are in good or better, I'd buy them. The Washington quarters (1932-1945S and 1946-1959D) are also a good deal. I wouldn't bother with the 1960-1998 since the coins after 1964 do not contain any silver.

The Buffalo nickels depend upon grade. If these all have natural surfaces and readable dates, this is a reasonable price. The rest of the coins seem priced a little high to me.

I agree that it depends upon the condition of the coins, Mints, errors and so forth also. Mercs are always a good buy, atleast the market says so. Solid silver too, ofcourse!

Do these prices include shipping to Australia? If so, that could be why they are slightly higher.

In any case, these should be nice to start a U.S. collection or fill some holes.

$20 AUD is $15 & change USD, is that correct?

70 cents for a silver quarter is close to 1/3 of melt. What did I do wrong?

Actually, the going rate right now is USD .76 is equal to AUD $1. That's why I recommended purchasing the silver Washingtons.

I think buying the silver is a good idea, seems fair enough as I would buy them myself. If the buffalos have readable dates, that would be another good buy.The rest would really depend on what condition the coins are in.Good luck to ya :) sn31.

To me if I were offered I would ask for pictures not like picture pictures but really detailed close up pictures so you can see them first. And my opinion is that the quarter set 1932-45 is a good bargain and the lincoln cents from 1909-1940's it also a good bargain but depends on the grade really
