I say small date. The top of the numbers appear even and the tail of the 7 does not seam to fall below the 0. Great find. Lets see what the pros say. WOLF

Yup, small date. But just to clarify, please see if you can post a pic. as nice as the others of "Liberty" and maybe stitch "Liberty"
with "In God We Trust" as one pic. to compare the two as far as device strike quality. Liberty will seem faded when compared to the motto. Not always true but mostly so.

Also forgot to mention the 7
I cannot see the detail well enough as far as the notching.
Maybe premature on my previous Yup :)
Nine looks correct though.

I blew up the date and rotated slightly--it makes it clearer I think.
So you found this--in circulation? Wow, great find! I've looked for years, no such luck.

That is a little clearer. Thanks for the blowup.

This first pic looks large to me, but the second pic had me second guessing myself.

The best part to look at is the inside curve of the 9, I think. It's angled more toward the 7 than toward the mm.

To find in circulation is outstanding!

I can tell it's a small date by the first pic.The first thing I look at is the 7,if it looks even on top with the other numbers. The second thing I check is the 9,if the inside hook is more level then pointing down and the third thing I look at is the word LIBERTY. Then the final check I do is post a photo here and ask the experts LOL. Very nice find mimouton I still have a problem knowing for sure on these though.

That "LIBERTY" locks it. Definitely a small date. Good find.
