Nice pickup. IMO these are still undervalued, very low run, and they don't wear well.

Nice, I'm still hoping to find mine, but as afcop says, they are undervalued.

Both 27-D and 27-S are way undervalued in my opinion. I agree. Nice piece. Good investment!

That is an excellent coin CWB! These are tough to find in VF and above, and yours is attractive for the grade. Here is mine. It was graded F-15 by ICG before I removed it to place into my album.

Grading on the 1927-S is a real art form. That PCGS VF30 looks a lot like my ANACS example which has the same grade. Most casual graders would say both coins grade much lower, perhaps just F-12 or so. If it weren't for the reverse rim wear it almost looks like Johnny's ICG F-15 coin is as good or better than the VF30 examples.

Here's my coin:

Nice one Jaobler! Yeah, mine has some decent details remaining but it looks noticibly flatter than yours or CWBs. Maybe it was just struck a little better initially, but sustained more wear along the way.

I've always said the 27-S is a sleeper. I think you will see some nice gains in the future. I have 8 of these and don't plan on selling anytime soon. Nice coin!

Nice coin. Interesting too how many of that series has lost the dates. Yet that one is clear.
